I am so thrilled to share this video that we collaborated on with two Chinese videographers earlier this month. It chronicles our love story, the MTA Vintage Train and our love of vintage. We are so grateful to Lu Lu and Monica from Miao Miao Productions for doing such a great job creating the video, and for the all the wonderful photographers who allowed us to use their images in the video as well.  Our story and love of vintage wouldn’t be nearly as special if it weren’t captured by such talented people.

On November 8th, we gathered once again at Grand Army Plaza for the annual Brooklyn Tweed Ride. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather: crisp, and just warm enough to not be freezing, but not too hot to make riding in our tweeds uncomfortable. I wore an absolutely amazing purple suit with black velvet trim that I had recently purchased for this very event. I wasn’t wearing tweed, its true, but hey, purple is a fall color and velvet is nice and warm! Even with a merry-widow on underneath it was surprisingly comfortable to ride in!

Hello MVLers! I’m excited to announce that a new feature- a calendar featuring upcoming vintage events, is now live on the site! My goal is to put up all the major vintage events in NYC and some events in the tri-state area, including parties, picnics, lectures, vintage clothing shows, and anything else that might interest lovers of vintage!  This is by no means all encompassing but I will do my best to list all events that might be relevant.
