Dances of Vice: The Celestial Ball
December 31, 2015 @ 9:00 pm - January 1, 2016 @ 2:00 am
$65 – $220Dances of Vice has been throwing amazing events for years now, and I’m happy to say I’ve been attending them since the beginning. The founder, Shien Lee, is a beautiful maestro of nightlife and knows how to throw a great party. This year’s New Year’s Eve party is sure to be no exception.
The Celestial Ball will be thrown at the lovely, wood-panelled, three-floor Downtown Association, with this description from the organizer:
“Mingle with heavenly bodies in a pantheon of gods and goddesses, stars and starlets, and incandescent immortals at the Dances of Vice Celestial Ball for New Year’s Eve 2016.
Whether a radiant Aphrodite, a regal Hera, a hellish Hades or a decadent Dionysus, dress in Olympian opulence to amplify your luminescence.
As you celebrate the earth’s trip around the sun once more, gaze at a constellation of interplanetary puppets, moonlit musicians, fire dancers, and diamantine performers who will sparkle with the same intensity as the bubbly in your glass.”
Dress Code is “Starry-eyed vintage glamour. Olympian opulence. It’s your time to shine.” So be sure to wear that gossamer vintage dress you’ve been waiting to wear!
We hope to see you there!
